Text Box: Minutes of the December 19, 2011 meeting As per prior club assent, the club meeting for December, 2011, was held informally at the club Christmas dinner and awards presentation, on December 19, 2011, at Max Dale Restaurant, Burlington, WA, at 7PM. Club officers John Thomas, Harlan Brown, and John Eades were in attendance. Treasurer Ron Tittensor was not able to make it. In addition, about 40 members and guests attended the dinner gala. There was no report of previous minutes, and no treasurer report. None were expected. The dinner was well attended and we all appreciated the opportunity to visit with friends in this context. Tom Schrader, son of our reknowned member Herb Schrader ( Mode 1 – what else-) provided continuous, professional jazz guitar background entertainment. Member ‘Trez” Tresnor was able to attend, with his wife and several of his daughters. It was great to see Trez out with us again, and he promised me he would hook up to the buddy box again this spring. As most of the members are aware, Trez must be one of the most senior of all AMA and club members, being just short of three digits young. President John Thomas exercised the historic responsibility and priviledge of recognizing members who stood out in their club efforts in the past year. Members so distinguished were Joe Goffin, Jim Carpenter, John Eades and Dennis and Lynne Kraacke (not in attendance). John presented each with framed certificates of appreciation and a holiday gift package.
